- Prepared core financial statements from the client's trial balance using our automated templates;
- Performed variance analysis and drafted disclosures included in Management's Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations;
- Compiled information from various stakeholders to complete the first draft of SEC form 10-Q or 10-K;
- Maintained version control of the draft document and processed edits from the company's management, legal department and auditors;
- Coordinated with the printer to prepare the document for EDGAR submission and filing with the SEC;
- Completed audit and disclosure checklists;
- Performed technical accounting research for transactions occurring during the reporting period, documenting management's accounting position for such transactions in memos for the audit; and,
- Prepared a comprehensive support binder to substantiate the disclosures in the filing, ensure quality and consistency, and to provide a roadmap for future document preparation.

Outcome - Our client has filed all forms 10-Q and 10-K on a timely basis since engaging Rivers & Moorehead to drive its SEC reporting compliance. In addition, at our client's request, we were able to apply custom modifications to our existing SEC reporting templates to provide them with specific management reporting to help them analyze their operations. Our efficiency and cost-effectiveness won us additional project work from this client.
